Recipes

Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Fried Rice)

First, cut the onions, chilies and garlic to tiny pieces. Pour 1 tbsp of vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat it in medium heat. put the onions, chilies, garlic and meat into the frying pan. Use a spatula to mix them together and add a little bit of your favorite seasoning such as chili powder. stir them until the meat is cooked then, add the rice to the pan and pour 1 tbsp of sweet soy sauce to the rice. when the fried rice is cooking, take a frying pan and a egg to make sunny side up egg. put the fried rice and the sunny side egg into a plate and its ready to served.

Pan Seared Steak

Pan seared salmon with rice

First, take the salmon and season both side with salt and black pepper. preheat a frying pan on medium heat with a tbsp of vegetable oil and butter. when the butter is melted, put the salmon into the frying pan and increase the heat to high. turn it over for every 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes golden brown. when its done, transfer the salmon to a plate with rice on it and its ready to served.

First, we need a good cut of steak. my recommendations are tenderloin, rib-eye, sirloin and filet mignon. you can use cheaper cuts also. in a frying pan, melt the butter over a medium low heat with mince garlic and rosemary on the side. take the steak and sprinkle both side with salt and black pepper. add steak to the pan and cook it until its well browned and medium rare. take a spoon and gently pour the melted butter on top of the steak. flip them once every 7 to 9 minutes. when its done, transfer the steak to a cutting board to chill for around 5 to 10 minutes. when its done, served it to a plate and add your chosen side dish.

Grilled sandwich

First, preheat a skillet over medium heat. take one slice of bread and butter one side of it. place bread into the skillet bottom. put 2 slice of cheese and meat (optional). take another slice of bread with butter on one side of it and place it on top of the sandwich. grilled both side until lightly brown or until the cheese is melted. when its done, served it to a plate and cut it into triangles.

Ayam Goreng (Indonesian Fried Chicken)

First, get a large bowl and mix the chicken with the garlic, coriander, turmeric, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Refrigerate and marinate it for 30 minutes to one hour (refrigerated it more longer for better quality). take a pan and put vegetables oil until its almost full and put it on over medium high. take the chicken and put it into the pan. reduce the heat and cook it until golden brown.
